When should I book?
The sooner the better! But definitely before your little one is born. After either your 12 week or 20 week scan is ideal. We’ll pencil in a provisional booking approximately 1 week after your due date. We take a limited number of newborn sessions each month because as well as a newborn photographer Sophie still works as a professional Fine Art Photographer.
Where will the session take place?
All sessions are held in my purpose built home studio in Upminster, Essex.
How old should my baby be?
All newborn sessions are held within the first 14 days, as this is the optimum age to photograph these newest little people. Babies tend to mostly sleep during this time, they also retain their womblike flexibility during this period, which makes posing very natural and comfortable for your baby.
How to prepare for the session?
After you have made your provisional booking we will send you a preparation guide with tips to help you prepare for the session.
When will I get my images?
Each image will be personally & professionally edited in both colour and black & white to Sophies unique style. You will receive your proof viewing gallery within 10 days. We aim to complete your order of images within 2/3 weeks. However this can take up to 4 weeks for certain products.
